CyberLink WaveEditor is an audio editing and recording program. This program has two main functions – edit/add effects to music files and to record custom music. When recording custom audio files, CyberLink WaveEditor will automatically export the file to the library then save it to the chosen export folder.

Recording preferences are available when recording including Time Limit, Settings, Profile, and Size Limit. Time limit is used for selecting the duration of time the recording will last. Settings window offers options for audio input and audio device. Profile provides configuration for setting the recorded audio’s quality and Size Limit allows users if you want the program to stop recording after a certain selected file size. WaveEditor supports different audio file formats including WAV, M4A, AC3, WMA, and MP3.

WaveEditor offers different audio editing tools including cut, trim and enhance tools. Effects can be applied either to a selected portion of an audio clip or to the entire file.
